About
Get ready! Love Revolution will rock your world. The Love Revolution started with a simple rediscovery by Gaylord Enns. What was it that Jesus was really ‘commanding’ us to do as individuals and communities of faith. This birthed a book in 2008, ‘Love Revolution: Rediscovering the Lost Command of Jesus.’ With its story-telling style, it gently pulls you in—but by the time you finish the last chapter, chances are you will be part of this revolution.
This 2011 revised edition has gone global with an e-book version and the new audio edition released in 2020. Join this revolution that will take you full circle back to Jesus, the author and finisher of the Christian faith. You will see that while He taught us many things, Jesus commanded us one thing. Love Revolution is about that one thing, its tragic loss, and the imperative of its full recovery. This is a book with a message you can't afford to miss—one you'll want to share with your friends!
Gaylord & Patti Enns
Gaylord Enns has served in full-time Christian ministry for fifty years. He started ministry to college students in the 60’s and was a leader in the Jesus People Movement of the 70’s. His pastoral ministry served one congregation for over three decades.
In 2003 he founded Servant Leadership Network (SLN) to facilitate ministry to pastors and next-generation leaders. In addition to traveling internationally, he served as the director of Chico Pastors Together in his hometown of Chico, California, facilitating gatherings of up to eighty pastors and ministry leaders from the city.
He is the author of Love Revolution: Rediscovering the Lost Command of Jesus. First published in 2008, the 2011 revised edition continues to be the catalyst for speaking invitations at home and abroad. He speaks with a passion to see Jesus’ Commandment fully recovered by His Church in our generation — “Love one another as I have loved you!”
In 2015, he founded Love Revolution Now (LRN) to awaken a revolutionary movement of ordinary people devoted to living a life of love in obedience to Jesus’ Command. His Game Changer seminar features five dynamic messages that inspire believers to receive God’s love and then to love those around them.
Patti Enns has been active in Christian ministry for fifty years, first working for Teen Challenge in Chicago and later for Salvation Army Booth Memorial Hospital for Unwed Mother’s in Los Angeles.
Married to Gaylord Enns in 1969, they started married life as directors of Ivy House, a Christian commune and discipleship ministry. During the four years they served there, Ivy House was home to over one hundred people in the early days of the Jesus People movement. She worked closely with her husband as he pastored one congregation in Chico for 33 years. She currently directs Hope for Life, a ministry to mothers coming out of homelessness, drug addiction and abuse at the Esplanade House in Chico.
Over the fifty plus years Gaylord and his wife, Patti, have been married, they have worked together closely in ministry. They enjoy a loving relationship with their children and grandchildren.
